Check Out First Images of New Stretch VW Campervan

The new Volkswagen Transporter-based Campervan with electrically extendable rear pod has just been introduced. The DoubleBack was originally introduced in Cardiff; Which Motorhome and MMM were there. It is based on Volkswagen T5 Transporter 2.0 liter TDI Long Wheelbase model. This engine is good for pumping out 140PS of power and comes with extending pod, which comprises of double bed. The rear pod technology produces 2 meters of extra space. The creators stated that this campervan symbolizes first true innovation in the market, since the arrival of elevating roof more than three decades ago.

Mr. Craig McCormack, Founder said that the DoubleBack is inspired by desire to see truly comfortable, spacious camper with all practical benefits of smaller vehicle. He also stated that it is excellent choice for sports or leisure and is best suited for young couples and families carrying 2 or 3 occupants in either bench seat configurations or captain’s chairs. It comes standard with kitchenette, elevating roof with fold out bed and other usual refinements. The DoubleBack is available for the price of £54,995 and is marketed through Volkswagen Sinclair dealership in Cardiff.
